Tales from New York part 2 – familiar path and the high-strung poets

Yesterday I played a mini set at one of my favourite places in Manhattan, the Path Cafe on Christopher Street and for the very first time I didn’t get lost in the west village and only had to ask for direction twice (trust me, that’s a record). It was so good to be back and to see all these amazing songwriters again who have become friends. Check out this beautiful song from my dear friend Jasper Lewis, who moved to New York just over a year ago when I was hear last. If living in New York pushes songwriters to write songs like this in just a year, I think I should move here now.
